Scientific Name: Geochelone Elegans
 Average Adult Size: 6-10" (females larger)
Area of Origin: India and parts of Pakistan. Other variations exist on Sri Lanka. 

Smaller and a little less outgoing then the Burmese Star the Indian Star still has lots to offer! Shell and color are second to none. I have found captive bred and born animals are hearty and easy keepers. I have a nice adult group and offer hatchlings every season.
